Silent protest against racism, GBV and police brutality in Namibia

SILENT PROTEST … Namibians assembled at various locations along Independence Avenue in Windhoek Central on Tuesday afternoon [16 June 2020, ed.] to stage a silent protest against racism, gender-based violence, and police brutality in Namibia. The protest signifies a local culmination of the global #BlackLivesMatter movement. Organizers delivered a petition to the justice ministry which was received by justice minister Yvonne Dauseb.
